WretchedOnyx tells us more.
OP here. Can't believe this actually got published. Insight time: we've been stuck in the little-to-no-money rut for a about a year now. The detergent we had smelled like hospitals and that weird plastic-y smell you get hit with at the dentist's office. We finally have enough money to get the stuff that has an actual scent instead of whatever "clean breeze" is supposed to be, so it's a small victory that is actually quite symbolic to us. Your comments had me laughing. A lot of you are right; enjoy the little things. You tend to miss out if you overlook them :)

Pardon me asking OP, but how much of a money problem do you have? Like, how bad is it
Why don't you make your own? I have been doing so quite a while. For a total investment is about 10.00 for everything and you will have everything you need for a year or so.
#30 - I'm not gonna go into detail, but I was a full-time student and had little money month to month. We had to be conservative in everything we bought. We finally have full-time employment helping us and steady income after about a year now, and things are much better for us. :)
Ugh, I remember that same situation only with dish detergent. it smelled like bleach and I'm still amazed that it did not eat through its container.
Rule number 26: Enjoy the little things.
So very true.
I totally agree! That movie is relevant to just about anything.
Living life on the edge, I see? I, too, like to live dangerously, what, with me putting my ramen noodles at such high temperatures.
I like to do that also, as well as put in the broth packet in *before* the noodles, thus completely disregarding the packet's instructions. Such temptations of rebelliousness are not to be ignored.
I make my own laundry detergent and stuff, so I get excited when they run out so I can make a new scent combination.
I'm with 39, making your own detergent is so fun and the scent combinations are endless.
Is it brand name?
Savor the little wins. Sometimes they're all you get for a while.
Apparently only broke people understand this...I'm with ya darlin! I've bought the knock off stuff and it sucks it's just not the same.
Hahaha! I think people just need to take the time to enjoy the small victories, ya know? Stop and smell the flowers type of thing. :)
Or in this case the flowery scented detergent.
i do that too

You know what though? New laundry detergent is awesome. There's nothing quite as relaxing as getting into a bed that has freshly laundered sheets and stuff. Enjoy your detergent. :)
I'd say f*ck your life but sadly, you don't seem to have one.
