Today, I got excited because a snowman I had built lasted a whole week, which is uncommon in my mild climate area. I thought myself lucky, and that my life was turning around. Then I realized how lame my whole train of thought was. FML

Today, I dressed up, went over to my boyfriend and told him he could do anything he wanted. He said nothing and walked outside. I figured he'd come back in shortly, but when I looked out the window a few minutes later, he was building a snowman. FML

Today, as I passed by the window that looks out on to my front yard, I saw a man out there so I ran to the kitchen to call the police. The operator asked me to describe the man. It was then that I realized the mysterious man in my yard was the snowman I built yesterday. FML

Today, I finally got my wish of having snow on my birthday. Excited, I failed to realise this meant that no one could come to my party, including myself as we were all snowed out of town. What did I spend my 18th doing? Tidying our house. FML

Today, I gave my 7-year-old a snowglobe. I had spent the last week deconstructing it, putting an action figure of his favorite cartoon character inside, and then putting it back together. Later, I find it smashed into pieces because he wanted to "play with the toy it came with." FML

Today, I woke up to every window in my house packed with snow. It was so bad that I thought I'd been snowed-in, and I started freaking out. It took two hours and multiple phone calls before I found out that my neighbor had taken our prank war too seriously and staged the whole thing. FML

My snowman didn't even last 5 seconds, stupid hot Texas. -_- JK I love my Texas! Though I wish I could see snow at least once. I don't know what to say to you OP except this is just a chance for me to say how I want to see snow. :P

This was great FML material... Just because it doesn't involve nuts, trucks, sex, or guns doesn't mean it's not worth publishing... OP thanks for one of the best FML's I've read in awhile... Sorry for the loss of your life changing snowman, that is when she melts.

I'd say good for you that something simple excites you. Most people are too caught up in their own ego to allow themselves to enjoy that kind of thing... All these posters calling you boring or what not...they can **** off, its all personal. Enjoy the things that you want to enjoy; those that mind what you enjoy don't matter, and those that do matter won't mind.
