Today, I got fired from my job at a weight-loss center because I was too skinny, and apparently it's too depressing for the customers to handle. FML

Wouldn't you be something to work towards? Like a source of encouragement? And if someone "overweight" works there, the customers wouldn't see the point of it..

Yeah, those places are weird. I was once given that same reason for a rejection when I applied to be one of the support people. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want to take weightloss advice from an overweight person. Why would I trust them to manage my weight when they can't manage their own? But hey, whatever. Hope you get a new, better job soon.

Did anyone else read 136's comment as 6'1 and 25 pounds?

That's grounds for a lawsuit.

Shut up, eating disorders aren't something to joke about or hate on. A lot of people with an ED try very hard to get help, it's not as easy as you'd think. If you have never had an ED shut up, you sound ignorant and you're an asshole for making that comment.

People hate on you if you're too fat, people hate on you if you're too skinny. Makes no sense to me. If you're not one thing you're the other, and if you're a normal weight they find some other flaw to degrade you with. People suck.

113, Its wrong to judge people for being fat and it's wrong to judge people for being skinny. Your comment was douchey and shouldn't have been made regardless of your thoughts on the issue.

yeah like any fat person would be inspired to loss weight by looking at another fat person. tell your ex boss from me they can go take a protein bar an stick it up there ass!
