Today, I got mad at my parents and threatened to run away. Things got so bad that I packed a bag and left, planning to hide in my front yard to teach them a lesson. It's been two hours, and I'm still standing behind a bush in front of my house while they make no effort to look for me. FML

They're not going after to you because they know you'll be back when it's dinner time.

Ok 1), you don't STAND behind a bush (unless it's a 5 1/2 foot tall bush, and then it's called a hedge). You at least sit down behind a bush and cover yourself with leaves to hide. Just saying, they probably saw your head peeking out over the top. 2), they probably figured you just needed a few hours to cool off at a friend's house and you would be back by breakfast. 3), since this post was in present tense, I'm assuming you were using your phone behind that bush in the night so someone could see your phone's light back there. 4) what did you expect them to do? Run through town in the middle of the night screaming your name, putting up posters, putting out an Amber alert, getting every cop in town to find you? It was a temper tantrum, not a kidnapping. Calm down.

It's hard to read this without thinking that you are a spoiled brat! If you ran away, then presumably you wanted to be _away_ from your parents. They are just granting your wish. If you wanted your patent's attention then maybe you should try asking nicely! A big huff never helps anything. Your parents are trying to teach you something. Maybe you should grow up and listen to them.

I don't even know how to respond to your bull.

If they have known u are there.. atleast they would have come to pick u back for the love they have on you... They didnt know that so better go back buddy

Pee on the toilet instead, that'll piss them right off, pun definitely intended

In the Kevin and Perry film, that's one of the first few scenes...

Because they know you'll return and you over reacting, and acting like a spoiled brat.

Teach them a lesson? They're your parents... obviously taught you a lesson about being a bratty attention-wh0re.
