Today, I got my cat stuffed after her death. I brought her home and set her down by my couch. I guess my dog thought it was a new chew toy. FML

As a pet owner, I would never think of stuffing my cats. I would like to remember them for how they were: hyper, cute, funny; rather than watching them staying still on a couch. Too depressing.

To be fair to the dog, a stuffed cat sounds like a genuine chew toy. YDI for getting it stuffed in the first place and for leaving it in a place where your dog could get to it. Why would you think the dog wouldn't go for it? Fake fur, plush inside - sounds like a good toy.
