Today, I got my cat stuffed after her death. I brought her home and set her down by my couch. I guess my dog thought it was a new chew toy. FML

Dog got the revenge FTW. The never liked that cat while the cat was alive. YDI for stuffing any living thing. I really want to remember who dies, rather you should really remember who lives. Get over cats and living things, everything is temporary.

******* gross and creepy. Like someone said, I want to remember my pets for the way they were - not a corpse. This isn't the same as ashes either, I'm sure we'd all be disgusted to see anyone's stuffed cadaver in the house. And why is anyone defending this? They're keeping a corpse in their house for display. Lambasting them for doing something so disturbing has nothing to do with "respecting their loss". I find it an insult to her pet and probably something is wrong mentally with the OP.

There once was a man whose wife died. He gave her a fantastic tomb just outside his house.... and eventually, moved into the tomb with her, making a bed next to her casket. People do odd things to mourn their loved ones. [shrugs]

Yes... perhaps their HUMAN loved ones. And while it can be said that many believe their dogs & cats to be 'part of their families,' 128 is correct. It's creepy. Where would you even keep it? A mantel?
