Eh who needs a phone that works properly anyway?
Yeah I know the woes of the repair/replacement process. My boyfriend and I went in on Friday to get his home button repaired. When we came back later to pick up the phone, they replaced the whole display and the home button STILL had issues. So we tell the guy working that it was still not working as expected and he had this attitude and said, "Well we could replace it but it wouldn't make sense." No bitch, what DOESN'T make sense is repairing the screen when the issue is with the home button. Goodness knows you don't back down when it's your phone. Make them fix that shit the right way, OP!
If it's an Apple product then take it back. They're pretty good at acknowledging when they make a mistake and then replacing the product or fixing it for free.
Of course they will. They have to. They have a policy stating if you experience issues with the device within 90 days of a repair, you can bring it back and they will repair/replace it for free. (This doesn't apply if you accidentally damage the phone AFTER the repair.)
Make them fix it free of charge, and if they refuse, sue their ass back to the Stone Age.
Can't really do that unless it's in their contract that OP can get that kind of privilege, I'm assuming that OP has a contract, other than a prepaid phone. Otherwise, I'd say they're better off just buying a new phone.
Definitely take it back to them and tell/show them what's going on. More often than not and, if they're a reputable business that cares about having good customer service and recommendations, they'll fix it for free. If not, take it somewhere else and write a yelp review to warn others they may not be the best.
My iPhone battery exploded and basically crushed the guts in my phone body. I tried a few places but the damage was too severe, or they didn't fix Apple, and kept sending me to the Apple Store. I got a new iPhone for free from the Apple Store. The Battery exploding like that was not something I could have done by myself or fix myself.
Yeah happened to me. Well not exactly the same. My screen completely screwed up and wasn't even able to read anything because it was just green. Took it back and they 'fixed it' because I'd had no problems apart from the crack. Then my screen kept popping out. Apparently I wasn't the only one that had issues with the place I went to. They had a 30 day warranty. In that time I took my phone back 10 times. Eventually they superglued- yes superglued my screen down. Which has now bent my phone and it didn't hold so I have to constantly keep gluing it down myself. I think I'd prefer my barely cracked screen. Long story but the point is people suck and I'll never trust a repair place again.
Normally they should offer a warranty for a certain amount of time, so you should just go back and get it fixed (free, of course :)) Good luck, OP!
This has happened to me before. It took nearly 2 hrs of arguments to get them to admit that it was faulty & that they'd done it (claimed it must have been something I'd done b4 I'd dropped it off, as I checked it b4 I left the store). Turns out, they'd damaged the LCD screen in the glass repair, & it was time consuming & expensive for them to fix. Long story short, I ended up getting it repaired at no cost to me, but it took me 3 weeks to get my phone back in working order due to them 'having to order in the LCD screen' as they supposedly didn't keep 1 in stock!

Yeah, that's definitely not okay. Go back and make them fix it again-- correctly this time
Exact same thing happened to me. I just took it back to the repair place showed them the problem and they fixed it for free.
