Today, I got my very first yeast infection. Thinking she would help me, I went to my mom. Instead she began yelling about how I'm lying and it's an STD and I don't believe in the power of Jesus. FML

Try monostat 3 or 7 (1 day is very concentrated and hard on the body), cranberry juice for acids to help kill the yeast spores, sleeping without underpants on, and wash your sheets and underroos in by water with vinegar or bleach. Or iron with hot steam iron. Some people zap their undies in the microwave. Wipe front to back. You will have a strong urge to per and a slight burn.

What a horrible mother! It's not enough your ****** is burning like the seven layers of hell but to have less than no support! *shakes head* talk to a doctor to confirm it is yeast and not bacteria then get what you need. Also the tea tree body bar from Paul Mitchell or as some call it the beaver bar can help prevent infections. Good luck... I'm sure this won't be the last time.

Same here. My mom yelled at me too and accused me of having sex when I complained of discomfort down below. I was 16 and my doctor assured her I was a virgin. Parents sometimes -_-

Haha, I don't think that's what the FML is implying about the mother, but Jesus is definitely not mean in any way. Anyone who thinks that Jesus (God, Holy Spirit, whichever they call Him) punishes people on earth for not doing good is very mistaken. They are just nutty! God gave us all free will. The "judgement" from God comes after one dies. Hell is there for the people who chose to lead a dark life and never repented from that. But on earth, humans can do whatever they want an not be punished by God. He never creates evil or makes evil situations for anyone. This is all stuff that is in the Bible.
