Today, I got my wisdom teeth out. My doctor said it was okay to eat, so, I had some mashed potatoes. Apparently, my body disagreed with the doctor, because I threw up. Because my face was so swollen, it didn't make it out my mouth. It went through my nose instead. I literally blew chunks. FML

lol the mashed potatoes I had were kind of chunky, and so after I threw up, there were still bits of it left in my nose. I had to blow my nose to get them out, and so I blew chunks of taters out my nose into the tissue. my mom almost fainted. :)

I did the same thing. My orthodontist told me it was OK to eat. I puked a big mac in the toilet and blood squirted everywhere from the stretched stitches in my mouth.

When I got my wisdom teeth taken out last month, it HURT to eat anything.

i got mine out on wednesday... i feel your pain. i vomited my antibiotic up right after i ate cottage cheese. and most of it decided to go through my nose also lol! hope you feel better :)

im sorry i kno ur pain.... i had my surgery (a whoel story in itself.... to put it short, they couldnt put me to sleep) and as soon as i got home i threw up and left a trail of vomit leading to the bathroom where i threw up the rest of my stomach contents. like someone else said... at least the worst of it is over.

best of luck dear. it's not so bad, just make sure you don't eat anything but your meds and water for the first 24 hours. Not like you're gonna want to anyway, but don't be fooled by the vicoden... you are as sick as you thought you would be, you just can't feel it.

I just got mine out last Friday. The first thing I ate was mashed potatoes too. Before I ate, I had dried blood in my mouth, so I washed it out with water. I almost thew up from seeing blood :/
