Today, I got my wisdom teeth out. My doctor said it was okay to eat, so, I had some mashed potatoes. Apparently, my body disagreed with the doctor, because I threw up. Because my face was so swollen, it didn't make it out my mouth. It went through my nose instead. I literally blew chunks. FML

lol the mashed potatoes I had were kind of chunky, and so after I threw up, there were still bits of it left in my nose. I had to blow my nose to get them out, and so I blew chunks of taters out my nose into the tissue. my mom almost fainted. :)

Oh damn man that sucks. I have to get mine pulled PLUS I have a extra tooth, so I have to get 5 wisdom teeth pulled.... ... ughhh.

I moderated this one ;D And really hope you feel better

lol thanks. :) you made my day, no matter how swollen my cheeks are.

Aww I'm sorry! Yea, they lie about eating... After you've been "out" like that for surgery, stick to clear liquids (i.e., Jello). I hope you feel better soon. I was also really sick after having my wisdom teeth out, so I feel you.

i had to get my mollers out and had a reation to the meds that num u so after 7 needles they figured it out and i had to wait in the waitin room with a swollen face and hives all over myface till it wore off then had to do it again without the meds

its probably because you had swallowed a little bit of blood at some point. i got mine out a couple days ago and i was feeling nauseous, and my dr said my body was probably trying to purge swallowed blood out of my stomach. i threw up. and yeah it was bloody. pretty bloody disgusting (har har). but i was eating mashed potatoes too (Fortunately AFTER the blood thing though, and not before)

I've heard that the vicodin makes people nauseous. I didn't take any when I had my wisdom teeth out, so I never experienced that. Hope you recover quickly.

EW LMFAO I literally made an "eww" face.

that's because your pain meds made you nausious like they do with most people, dumbass!

you're so nice! obviously, you've taken every single drug in the world, so you know all of their side effects. however, for those of us who don't, I guess we have to learn the hard way!

OMG I have to get my wisdom teeth removed in 2 weeks! The dentist said that I would be out for a week and that i would look like a chipmunk! FOL's

the best advice i was given was to buy a pair of stockings/tights, fill with ice and tie around your head. this looks like something out of A Christmas Carol, but it helps hold the ice in place, which is key for keeping the swelling down. Good luck!
