Today, I got on an elevator at the mall, along with a twelve or thirteen-year-old girl talking on her cell. She spent the whole ride telling the person on the other end how hideous I looked and how I look like a pregnant sperm whale. I was too humiliated to even say anything. FML

Seriously? I'm not even too certain what exactly I'd do, but take that kind of shit wouldn't be one of the options. Call out shit when you see it, Op. You don't deserve that from anyone, I don't give a **** who she was. Simply asking her where she gets off passing judgment and what makes her think she's worth more than the air she occupies alone would have been enough. :p Or, not that I'm suggesting it, do what my "kid sister" did: Sis is 5'1", was 19 yrs old then, all of 104 pounds, riding a transit bus in Winnipeg a few years ago. The boy behind her seat was about 5'6", maybe 15 or 16, and a bit heavier than her. For about 10 minutes, he's yelling out bitch this, **** that, before she turns and asks him to put a cork in it. He gives her an "Or else what, you ****?" and spits in her face. She didn't even hesitate: She grabbed him by the hair, and fed him 3 solid rights crosses into his face and drops him crying on the floor. Everyone on the bus cheered, except the driver. He kicked her off. ;) Was she wrong to do that? Maybe a bit over the top, but I don't disagree that he deserved it. Lucky she didn't get arrested too. But, $50 bucks says he watches his mouth a bit better after That life lesson. ;)
