I agree with #180, stop bitching. More then most people in this world couldn't afford to even send you to college. Go try living in a third world country.
A computer is the kind of gift you get before college . . . so now that you have a diploma go get a good job and buy your own overpriced computer.
Quite a nice meaning xD
SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. Chill the **** out. It's tradition to get a present when you've accomplished something or passed some sort of milestone in your life. It doesn't have to be expensive, just thoughtful. In what way is an apple thoughtful? I, myself, would prefer a nice home made card or a letter over an apple.
154 Soooooo many? Really? I'd like to live in your area. And do you really need a gift from your parents after they raised you and supported you for 18 years? OP: Quit being a baby and use that degree to get a job so you can buy yourself a gift.
Some of you people are heartless. OP's not talking about starving kids in africa, or third world countries, or someone just losing their parents, are they? Nope! Shot, it's nice to get a little gift for graduating. Those people who say YDI probably got nothing themselves. But then again.... wait awhile... you probably will get something good later
When I graduated (after working all thru college to help pay my way) I got a 19 dollar digital watch. When my kid sister graduated, she got a car. No biggie though.

show em what you learned in college and turn it into a pipe
Is that their way of joking about you becoming a teacher?
