Today, I had a fight with my boyfriend over a girl he is close to. He later arrived with flowers for what I thought was an apology. He was actually breaking up with me; the flowers were for her, he just didn't want to leave them in the car. FML

Today, I was making out with my boyfriend. When we took a break and went downstairs, he checked the mail. He had received a letter from his ex-girlfriend, which he opened in front of me. He then began sobbing on my shoulder and broke up with me. He still had to drive me home. FML

YDI - you probably said some really horrible things to him during the fight and the flowers were a way to hurt you back. I bet he bought solely for this purpose and not to give to the other girl. The flowers are probably sitting in a vase in his mom's house.

Erm... Normally I'd agree, but considering he just broke up with her for the other girl, it doesn't look like they were just friends and her paranoia was pretty justified.

As a girl who is close friends with a lot of males, I agree. I've had a lot of my friends try to slip me the pillow-plunger while they were tied up with other females.
