Today, I had a fight with my boyfriend over a girl he is close to. He later arrived with flowers for what I thought was an apology. He was actually breaking up with me; the flowers were for her, he just didn't want to leave them in the car. FML

This is my opinion, OP can only be right here, there's no way she can be wrong. She was worried about her bf being close with the girl, And she was proved right. If my girlfriend worried about me getting with a girl there's no possible way I'd feel compelled to do it.

If OP's done this a lot in the past, or with other girls, I don't blame the guy for ditching her for this girl. Or faking it, if that's what he did. It's basic psychology, if you keep asking if there's something going on with that person, they're going to start thinking about it.

Story time! My very first boyfriend became best friends with a girl and apparently fell in love with her two months into our relationship. She was in a relationship at the time though. What did he decide to do? He stayed with me for four more months just to have a girl he can control and force to do things until his friend was single again. My arms were held down, I was choked, and hands were forced down my pants as well as his. All because he had a close female friend. Now I have trust issues and am constantly afraid others will do the same. Fully on OP's side here because I know where that can lead.

All these break up FMLs we only hear one side of the story, for all we know OP could have been the ass and could have been driving her boyfriend away. Then OP accusing her boyfriend crossed the line.
