Today, I had a nervous breakdown. My life has been going down the drain and I called my boyfriend for comfort. I was crying my eyes out, finally getting everything off of my chest that has been bothering me. I thought it was quiet because he was listening closely. I was wrong. He fell asleep. FML

That's why you do all of that in person. Cry all over him and then he has no choice but at least put his arm around you. I don't know why guys have such issues with listening...I mean it's not like you have to think about a whole lot. You know? There isn't going to be an essay afterward explaining what said faucet was feeling and why they were feeling it...It's just listening to what they have to say and being comforting. Look on the bright side OP, you got everything off your chest and you didn't need a man to do it. Feel proud of your independence!
