Today, I had a nervous breakdown. My life has been going down the drain and I called my boyfriend for comfort. I was crying my eyes out, finally getting everything off of my chest that has been bothering me. I thought it was quiet because he was listening closely. I was wrong. He fell asleep. FML

Wat? First of all, it doesn't say she called her bf over, just that she called him. It really doesn't matter what time, if he was tired and falling asleep, then he was tired and falling asleep. We don't know the full story here, but clearly if the OP is having a nervous breakdown and her life is going down the drain, there's only so much the people in her life can do that they aren't already (or not) doing. Depression isn't something that's tossed aside after a phone call.

well im sorry he fell asleep but sometimes i have friends call me when im exhausted and trying to sleep or something. and i understand they are going through a rough time, and i care about them and would help them. but if i am half asleep i am going to fall asleep, so this isnt really an fml. maybe he was tired? yes he should be there for you, but still if he was tired if he had an all-nighter or something, then don't blame him. however if he wasn't busy and wasn't trying to sleep then that is kind of rude, but still, i understand your problems may happen at different times and you cant time them to be convenient for him, but if it is inconvenient for him, then you have to be able to deal with whatever might happen on his end. also if this was a one-time thing, then he shouldnt have gone to sleep, but if you tend to do this a lot, i dont really blame him. all that being said, i am sorry he fell asleep, and i hope all works out for you :)

I must have done that upwards of 15 times/ The problem is guys do solutions, its how we are made. Chicks do compassion as that is how they are made. If you want to complain and have a friendly shoulder to cry while you go on and on about how much your life sucks call a chick. If you want a solution to your life sucking so much call a guy. If I can't offer a solution I tune out very quickly.
