Today, I had to attend a meeting with my parents, my teacher, and my bully and his parents. When we started, my bully "broke down" and "tearfully" told the teacher that I was the one bullying him, and that he was getting blamed to cover it all up. They believed him. FML

Damn, there are some real scumbags in the world.

How would the kid even have any evidence to prove you were bullying him if you were the victim

Oh, that kid is a CLASSIC sociopath. While you have my sympathy for your current situation, be glad that once you leave school you'll never have to see him again. His family is stuck with him forever, and believe me, when he is able, he will con and use them and make their lives miserable.

I mean... if you're going to be blamed and get in trouble anyway, might as well give them a reason. Next time you see your and bully and he wants to start some shit, punch the little **** in the throat. Maybe add a crotch kick for good measure. As far as I'm concerned, turnabout's fair play.

Ask people who have seen it, it may be hard but one can only hope. if anything, call everyone crazy and just say "Whatever, you believe him? So there shouldn't be any more problems right? because I've wanted him to leave me alone since the beginning of the year. As long as he stops talking to me and stops bullying me, there shouldn't be a problem, right? Because of course, it was him being bullied, not me. Thanks!"

A couple tips from a former bully: 1. Kids who bully other kids are usually putting on a show to cover the fact that they themselves are insecure. That's why the kid was so quick to start crying when confronted - he was afraid. 2. I know it's hard to see when you're young and trying to fit in, but the truth is that insults are only effective if the opinion of the person doing the insulting matters to the person being insulted. If you don't care what I think about you, then I cannot insult you. Keep looking up, kid. It gets better.

For the bully or for the victim? Because it seems to me that you have no idea what it's like for the victim. I was bullied for most of my childhood (because I was just geeky and smart enough not to fit in, even if I wasn't genius level) and I *still* have severe insecurities because I never truly fit in anywhere (my family moved a lot so I was always the new kid). I nearly committed suicide when I was twelve because it got so bad. I didn't only because I thought about how it would effect my little sister. It's all fine and good to say that the bully is insecure too, boo hoo, but you don't get how much damage can be done to their victims. Victim blaming needs to stop. If you hurt someone, you should pay the consequences. End of story. While what you say about the insults is mostly true, how long can a person hear the same shit every day before they start to believe it? Especially if they're in the situation where they have no one else to tell them otherwise?

But as a continuation from my last point, OP, the only way I coped was to just keep my head down until I got to high school and went to a different one than my bullies. Maybe you could speak to your parents about getting transferred to a different school? If it's possible. I hope for your sake it is. Good luck OP. Remember that there are people out there who have your back, even if it's just in the FML community.

Maybe you could wear a body camera. Thatll **** him over eventually.

Now you have to live up to what he said and actually bully him, jk no just beat his ass when hems not looking. #major?

The way Eric Cartman deals with bullies is frowned upon in most civilized countries. Anyways, I want to hear from the op what the bullying consisted of. I'm strangely in the mood for getting angry.
