Today, I had to attend a meeting with my parents, my teacher, and my bully and his parents. When we started, my bully "broke down" and "tearfully" told the teacher that I was the one bullying him, and that he was getting blamed to cover it all up. They believed him. FML

Here's a tip: If you stand up for yourself and fight back (assuming the bullying is physical), it will make you a much less desirable target. Even if he's bigger and stronger than you, you'll no longer be an easy target who'll just sit there and take it, which is exactly who 99% of bullies target.

Try to record audio or video of him bullying you, but make sure they know you didn't initiate anything

Well I hope everything will work out, but I assure you that bullies aren't a big problem if you don't let them affect you. If you ignore them and know how to defend yourself if they get physical you'll be fine. And you can always call the cops on them if they get physical and have them arrested. But hey atleast in however many years until you graduate you'll be free of them!

Use your smartphone to record him bullying you. Even if you just turn on audio recording, as long as you keep it in your pocket the bully won't notice it. Virginia is a one-party consent state, so it's perfectly legal to record him. If you don't have a smartphone, buy a cheap tape recorder. Even some flip phones have recording capabilities. Also, check if your school has security cameras, and ask the teachers to watch the footage.
