Today, I had to carry a 25kg bag of cement to an elderly customer's car because she refused to use a cart. "You're paid to work, so I'm gonna make you work." FML

Carts are meant to convey goods from one point to other. OP could have used that time and effort elsewhere. That was unfair.

i used to build houses with my father, i have done that too, it sucks solid ass, once i had a bag on my shoulder and it busted open, spilling all over me

I would tell her that's not in my job description. Someone did that to me once except she wasn't an elder woman just someone who didn't feel the need to carry her own bags. Sorry op

Should've said "can't. Kilgrave told me not to."

I would have grabbed a cart, used it to haul the cement and then said, "Work smarter, not harder... Granny".

I've carries 4x 20kg bags I've seen some carry 6x (big islander boys)
