You know, YOU could have used the cart. Just because the customer refused doesn't mean you're not allowed to. You still would have been helping her and you wouldn't have had to risk injury to do so.
Yes, please complain about a 55lb bag of cement that this "elderly lady" probably wouldnt be able to lift out of a cart. And you ARE paid to work. 55lb bag of cement, not that heavy, and Im a girl saying that. you can handle it. ****** kids these days not wanting to lift a damn finger
You don't get paid to carry stuff to people's car.
25kg isn't that heavy tho......why you complaining
Couldn't you have pushed it in a cart for her?
Seriously? 25kg is nothing. Unless you are a child or a noodle-armed skinny weakling, you should have no problem carrying a bag that heavy. In any case you ARE paid to WORK, so just get on with it and stop moaning, you're earning your wage.
She's just looking out for you, carrying 25 kilos of cement builds character.
Just because she wouldn't use one doesn't mean you can't use one right?
I once had a customer that made me get our biggest flatbed cart for a piece of gym equipment she wanted to return because she said it was heavy. When I got to it, it was a stair stepper that weighed about 15lb

The joys of working in retail!
Carts are meant to convey goods from one point to other. OP could have used that time and effort elsewhere. That was unfair.
