Today, my boyfriend forgot to pick our son up from daycare. His excuse? Fighting in a battle in World of Warcraft was far more important and he had to stay absolutely focused. Our son had to wait for two hours. FML

Today, my boyfriend taught my son to do his chores. Not real chores, but "Runescape chores" on my boyfriend's account. My son won't pick up his toys or put his shoes away, but he'll jump on the computer to grow plants or cut trees or some other stupid shit. FML

What was the award ceremony for? If your kid was just getting some stupid participation award crap then good on dad. Kids need to learn that awards for doing nothing aren't worth shit. If it was a real award? Dad needs to find a new raid, one that recognizes that family is more important sometimes.

There are so many things wrong with people who pick WoW over real life. IT'S NOT REAL PEOPLE. My roommate plays WoW endlessly and it affects her sleep, social life, schoolwork, relationships, and prevents her from getting a job so she complains about being broke all the time. WTF is so great about it? It's just a damn computer game. You totally deserve it. Shame on you for missing an important event in the life of your son.

I would have sat at home and watched dr phil or opera award ceremonies are really boring and pointless now if it was his graduation then I can see but an award ceremony the kid will just forget about it in the next 2 days or so
