#84 - "they" can be singular or plural (ie "what do you think of the guy over there?", "they look happy"), so the OP isn't stereotyping "obese people" or whatever other sublime comment you felt was made there. Anyway, as most people have said, YDI for not requesting hygiene standards. It's not a work policy thing at that point, it's a law thing. Safe work place etc. You can't refuse service cause they're "larger", but you can refuse service because they're unsanitary/unhygienic. In this case the lack of hygiene is related to the obesity, but to call that discrimination would be like saying banning pregnant people from flying is sexist because only women get pregnant.
