Today, I had to hide in the closet all morning because my 22-year-old boyfriend didn't want to admit to his parents that he had his girlfriend stay the night. FML

That was terrible of him to do to you, yet at the same time if he's not supposed to have girls spending the night in his room (as he is still living under his parents' roof), you 2 probably should've found a different place or simply not do it... The time will come when you will have your freedom!

Were there at least snacks in the closet?

get your own place??? or don't do it knowing that his parents could find out???

If its their house I can see why he would have you hide to avoid an argument with them or make things awkward for you. If it was his house he probably has a legitimate girlfriend he's already introduced to them and he doesnt want his parents to know he's a cheating shitbag.

That sucks OP but i get where he is coming from. My girlfriend is 25 and her family doesn't know she's gay so i have to pretend im her friend and i dont be at her house, but when she comes out her parents will disown her so she is waiting until she finds that one person she knows wont betray and she can marry when she comes out causw that's all she will have. Maybe he has a reason why he has to hind you right now, as long as he is doing his part of the relationship just be patient and everything will come through.

that is seriously messed up bro. a bit too obsessed with the job

If he's in their house and they are uncomfortable with it, then you gotta sick it up or you both move out. He has to live there and doesn't want to deal with the drama, that's smart and that's all there is to it.

Your life sucks but YDI if you stay with them unless there is a genuine reason that explains this
