I can't stand talking to strangers, but as soon as I get to know someone I love talking to them... It's a fear thing; if someone in my class talks to me, I freak out and say whatever pops into my head (which is one of the reasons everyone thinks I'm so weird, NOT that it's a bad thing).

Just tell her that your lifestyle is you choice. If she wants to be a miserable jerk then let her be. Ask what her sefinition of "loser" is. Perhaps make a mention of some oppressive regime like nazi germany or the iron curtain and suggest those places also had people who thought they should tell people how to live.
