Today, I had to run a mile in gym class for fitness training. If it takes longer than 10 minutes to run the stretch, you have to re-take it. My time was 10:02. FML

Some kid at my school could run a 4:30 mile

If you do track, I swear it will change your life. My time used to hover around 10-12 minutes, but in a little over a year I got it down to 6:49. I still suck compared to a ton of other people, but now I actually like running it :)

Your life does suck if it takes you that long to go a mile.

Happened to my at basic. Mile and a half 13:30, my time...13:31

My middle school gym teacher had a rule that if she passed you while running cross country you got lunch detention. She ran really fast, didn't cut us any slack. A lot of kids got lunch detention. Also, for some reason our cross country section lasted for months, and we had to run the entire hour straight. Others I've talked to said they only had a couple weeks section tops, and no one had their gym teacher running with them screaming at them "detention! detention! detention!" as they passed them. lol. So it fyl, but it could be so much worse.

That's horrible. Not everyone has it in their genes to be-able to run that fast.

oh you're into fitness? how about fitness dick in your mouth? xD

I can jog a 10min mile, i dont get people sometime....athletic ability is not hard....

Well not everyone is naturally athletic, it takes work, and while it may be easy for you that's no reason to shit all over other people. I have some problems that make it hard for me to do a lot of physical activity so I'm not skinny and athletic like you must be. Yes, I do live in the States but I promise I'm not even close to obese. **** anyone who stereotypes me that way.
