Today, I have an infected piercing because I'm allergic to the metal. My ear is so swollen that I can't remove the jewelry. It won't get better until I'm able to remove the jewelry. FML

This happened to me when I was a kid. I had to force it out and it wasn't a pretty sight. I pushed it out from the back, since it was the front that closed over the piercing. But if you can't get it by yourself, see a doctor.

I had something like this happen except I wasn't allergic to it. It simply got severely irritated and then infected and it crept into my ear and healed over mostly. I had to get it surgically removed. It wasn't actually horrible getting it out as they did sterilize and numb it significantly. Hope you get some medical attention for this.

If you knew you were allergic to a type of metal then you should always ask what metal a piercing is made of before getting it done. YDI

Ok u r never supposed to take out a piercing if it's infected!!!!!! When u do that ur body heals the hole then traps the infection inside. Piercers r the best people to see in this situation because doctors always say take it out n then ur stuck with an infection.

Might as well cut off your ear and take up painting

teatree oil man. get the stuff that is already diluted and can be used on skin and just wipe that little ****** over as often as possible. I have 11 different peircings in my face/ears and promis this has been the solution every time I've experienced your problem goodluck.

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. Doctors gave me a certain type of antiseptic to use twice a day to calm the swelling. You could probably get it from an ear nose and throat doc

I completely understand your pain I've been there and it hurts like a mother

cover the metal on all your earrings with clear nail polish. it keeps the metal from aggravating your ears (well, mine at least). good luck OP!

It that truck doesn't work on my rings, it won't work on my ears.
