Today, I was told that since I've had only three or four periods since 2013, there's 60 periods worth of blood clotted in my uterus. They gave me medicine to make it all come out in one week. FML

It does. I passed out in there yesterday, so now I’m scratched and bruised. :/

This is something we probably didn’t need to know.

That’s not how it works, like at all

Seeing all the posts about medication giving you the equivalent of a six-weeks explosive diarrhea out of your ****** coupled with the sensation of being cut open with a rusty chainsaw, it looks like nobody thought about testing said medication on women. Good luck with the doctor who will prescribe you sedatives instead of painkillers.

Well they are testing it now, aren't they? -.-

Take Aleve, not Midol or Advil. Stronger and lasts longer, but make sure you take it with food! Avoid caffeine, makes cramps worse. Some noble kava, to take the edge off the stress and help you sleep (avoid sketchy online shops, though).

Uh, please find another doctor/gynea.... I understand that there could be issues with the thickening of the blood which causes a higher cancer risk like some of the other comments, but if your periodblood had truly been accumulating after all that time, you would have run the risk of sceptecimia (sorry I have never been able to spell that word) waaaaay before 2018 if they stopped in 2013. The body will find a way to get rid of the blood, one way or another. I only come on twice or three times a year because of my birth control, I don't take anything to get it out me, even though one month can be a bit heavier than the others, which makes me think there could be two months worth, but a few years? Impossible. Please find a new doctor and have your hormones checked.

I’d love to. They won’t let me, though, because I’m seventeen and childless.
