Many of you ladies seem to have serious issues with men. Consider this alternate situation: a woman is going to break up with her boyfriend because she doesn't reciprocate his feelings; dozens of men tell him that she deserves to be physically harmed. How would you feel if you saw that?

Amen brother. All these butt-hurt women on here whose first response is "dump him" if a guy plays a joke or uses a bit of sarcasm. I love it when people who suck at relationships try to tell other people how to ruin their own. Like they say, misery loves company.

So basically OP you were expecting him to do what you wanted only? At least he was mature about it and didnt break up over text. Maybe he wasn't ready for marriage. Marriage is an enormous commitment and maybe you two weren't made for each other in the first place. But sorry to hear you break up anyways op. Maybe you'll find another guy who can take on marriage :)
