That is so not the point, though! It doesn't matter if she was speaking Spanish or Croatian; knowing a foreign language does NOT make it okay to insult people RIGHT in FRONT of them just because you know they can't understand you! It's cheap and cowardly and just plain bitchy, and no one should do it no matter what the odds are that the person will also know that language and cause it to backfire on you.
