I don't know how old you are. But in my university biology II class it is cleary stated that and known that birds are indeed reptiles. It is something not commonly known by most people but the fact of the matter is, birds are reptiles.

Birds actually are reptiles. There are so many bird nuts that make a huge deal out of them, so the scientific community essentially gave them their own class. Besides flight, birds are functionally identical to reptiles. My source is a college zoology course, not wikipedia.
