Today, I joined a gym. I’m overweight and not very athletic, so I was nervous. I looked around and tried a treadmill. I start walking at a chill pace, then got ambitious and cranked it to a "light jog." Within seconds, I tripped, fell, and sent the emergency stop button flying across the room. The gym staff ran over and I swear someone said, “Well, at least he’s trying.” FML

I bet it laughed at you and told you to lay off the Krispy Kremes. There are some lies that just can't be tolerated, even by a treadmill.

this makes absolutely perfect sense...lie to the treadmill because the treadmill has a brain, and thoughts, and feelings, and is totally capable of judging you....dumbass..your only cheating yourself OP

Uhh not funny..? FML is going downhill.

They should invent a Treadmill that makes fun of the fatsos who lie.

good for you for getting ON the treadmill! the treadmill i use asks for age and weight to calculate what your target heart rate should be for maximum weight loss. the treadmill isn't going to laugh at you, be honest next time so you can get the most out of your workout. :)

I wonder how many treadmills are in therepy because people lie to them all day?

that job must suck. people lie to them, then step on them.

perdix = win OP its ok lying is the first step in to believing you lost weight when you didnt...i suggest you reverse your method.
