Dullest FML ever. You should win an award for that. Still, FYL. That was probably pretty embarrassing.
Start keeping a spare key in your wallet.
How does this happen?
Why did I just read this fml as some kind of weird sexual innuendo?
FYL. Those parking enforcement officers are complete and total scum; a stain on society. Think about it! Their job is to screw people every day! Yes sometimes those tickets are legit however in my personal experience it is usually some really picky often bent interpretation of a rule but you have to pay anyway. I'm sorry; this sucks. And if there are any parking enforcement officers reading this; SCREW YOU GUYS! Go get a better job or better yet just remove yourselves from society. man. There i'm done ranting.
I've had more than a few brushes with AAA myself...

I'm impressed you managed to get the car to LET you lock yourself out... Either it's an antique, or you are truly talented... Nearly every car these days will prevent you from locking the door when it is open and the key is in the ignition.
my car is 15 years old, and it dosent let me lock my car with the keys in my ignition
