Yeah I think like a few other people have said that it may have been something else that you ate and not your spaghetti.
Honestly, it's better it was the cook than someone else.
If it was the spaghetti bolognese that caused it, and only you got sick, it's more likely you're allergic to one or more of the ingredients in the dish than it being food poisoning. Or, like others have said, you got sick from something else.
While "food poisoning" is often blamed for upset stomachs, vomiting, and diarrhea, it is actually uncommon (considering how often we eat) to get actual food poisoning. More than likely you picked up a virus at some point, and it manifested after you ate the spaghetti. This is a typical "it must have been something I ate" response, when, in fact, it is actually unrelated to your diet at all. Had it been the result of eating spoiled or contaminated food, your dinner guests would have also felt the effects. I know that doesn't really help the symptoms.
If you all ate the same dinner are you sure it wasn't something else you had?
As others have said, it takes 4 - 24 hours for food poisoning to manifest. But if it was the bolognese, you probably were exposed while preparing it--always be careful around raw meat, and clean frequently as you go (utensils, surfaces and hands).
Real food poisoning comes on after 24 hours of eating the spoiled/bad food, if you were just sick that evening it was probably unrelated to the meal.
Food poisoning can come hours or even weeks after eating bad food. It depends on what is causing the problem.

Well, honestly if I were to make food for other people I'd rather myself get sick than the people I'm serving. But still, food poisoning sucks.
I think I would prefer it that way
