Today, I met a cute girl at a dance club. I entered her number in my phone just before she left the club. With a proud smile, I turned the screen towards my buddy, showing off my accomplishment. Attempting to give me a friendly pat he accidentally closed my phone. I hadn't saved the number. FML

Today, my friend and I went to a bar for drinks. I noticed this cute girl and went over to say "Hi." I had a great conversation with her and I asked for her number before she left. She passed it to me on a piece of paper with instructions specifying for my friend to call her and not me. FML

Today, I went to a rock concert and met this amazing girl. We started talking and then swapped cell numbers. Five minutes later, she asks to see my cellphone, so I gave it to her. Once I got home I went to text her and saw that she deleted her number. FML

Today, I scored the number of a cute girl. I gave her mine as well, just before leaving the bar. As I waved her goodbye, I attempted to do a cheesy "call me" gesture with my thumb and pinky finger, and winked. For a reason unknown to me, I ended up flipping her off. I still winked though. FML

Today, I realized that I accidentally said my phone number wrong when I was giving it to a really smart, cute guy with all the same interests as me that I met at a bar last night. I'd had a few drinks and had gotten the middle three digits mixed up. FML

Today, I got this beautiful girl's number at a bar. After the night was over, I was pretty drunk and sent too many drunk Snapchats. When I'd sobered up, I deleted them. She asked why I deleted them, so I said because I was drunk and didn't remember what I sent. She hasn't messaged me back since. FML

I feel ya on this one. If I don't touch my phone for 3 seconds it exits out of what I was doing. This especially sucks when I type long texts out and have to type them over again. I also did this once with a girl that I liked. She liked me back, but she also liked this one guy. I got her number and was going to call her and ask her out, but then my phone exited out before I could save the number. Guess who's going out with her...

I won't lie.... This isn't really either one. Yeah, you lost her number. It happens all the time. Not to sound mean, but there is where I kind of think FML needs an "...and?" or a "...so what?" button .... But that is still a little unfortunate

This FML is weird, because with all of the flip phones I've ever owned, if I ever closed it while adding a number, it would just go back to the screen...Not completely delete it. FYL

Wow you're stupid. On your phone settings there's a thing called "notepad" where all your dial times and stuff are. Select that and it shows the last number you typed in your phone. You didn't have to call it. You are an idiot :-/ to probably already dial another # by now ydi
