No it was invalid, because if I saw someone crying for doing something to themselves that put them in that situation, I'd say they deserve it. But as you used, if a man was beating his girlfriend, I'd step in and help out because that's what we do as human beings that can empathize. I'm sorry he wished to embarrass you, especially in front of the cab driver. I don't understand how people can call this a 'YDI' when you felt there were similar intentions. There's nothing wrong with wanting meaningless sex, but it's definitely safer if you use protection. Hopefully the next guy you land will be up for some meaningless fun and you'll never have to see him again. Always use condoms!

Well that was very aggressive, and definitely uncalled for. I personally have no interest in one night stands or friends with benefits but I know that not all people fit into the mold of being strictly monogamous. As long as a person is playing it safe, whether with condoms or even a taser – hey if they know self defense, even better, why not? Not everyone wants to live their lives 'vanilla' and they want excitement, whether it be going home with a stranger or blowing off some steam with some sex. Just because I don't see a problem with OP's choices is no reason to insult myself or them.

I call it like it is. You may not be a **** (and good for you), but sleeping around = a **** whether you're a man or woman. There's no such thing as being 100% safe. No form of birth control is 100% effective unless you get sterilized. No form of protection will totally prevent you from getting STDs. If someone sleeps around and gets a disease, that's their own damn fault and they deserve no pity or sympathy. If they get pregnant and decided "hey no big deal, I'll just get an abortion again" they deserve everything bad that happens to them in their life. I get that not everyone is as moral as some of us, and that's a big reason why society has gone to shit. It's all about "me" and "now" with no consideration for anyone else or the future. @135. Just b/c she wanted to go to his house or him to go to her's does not equate she wanted to sleep with him. Even if it did one cannot assume that she does it regularly so calling her a **** is a bit extreme. At any rate to #84 how on earth was he purposely trying to embarrass her? He simply was saying No, I would like to go to my house and you go to your's. He didn't say hell no F you. He was quite polite. Neither parties are the bad guys in this situation.
