Sorry to hear that OP, but as someone said avoid "voicing hates" when you are just meeting someone. You don't want to piss someone off when trying to make a good impression. Tattoos do have different meanings to many people, but some locations are so common with certain groups of people. The aren't gonna ask your life story why you got a tattoo above your butt they are gonna assume. A lot of people with face tattoos haven't been in jail, but a lot have and that is the association. You can't be surprised that people think that.
