Today, I met my fiancé's much older sister for the first time. Turns out she is actually my old high school English teacher who used to make me cry at least 3 times a week. It's been three hours and I've accidentally called her Miss Willow 4 times and been reduced to tears twice. FML

Crying is a normal emotional response. Crying has no age limit and no academic grade level limit. If you said you never cried in high school I would automatically you assumed you were lying.

or he was the bully making everyone else cry

I'm someone who cries when I'm upset, frustrated, angry, or stressed. It's not something I can help or get over because it's just how I respond to those things. Granted, I can usually hold it together until I get somewhere private, but there were a handful of times in high school when I didn't. OP could be the same way.

Just wow.. clearly you dont understand the struggles OP has gone through highschool, not everyone has it easy & can easily control their emotions. There is nothing wrong to cry regardless how old you are.

Just play To The Moon and you'll understand what crying is like, even in and beyond high school.

Get over yourself. You sound like a basketcase

Obviously no one here knows the whole situation, but if she's really being a bully, you'd think your fiancé would say something. Then again, siblings often take priority in protecting one another, even when one is in the wrong. I sincerely hope she lightens up or you can overcome whatever tension lies between you two

But significant others take priority, even over siblings.

Unfortunately that's not always how it goes, at least in my experiences :/

Then, no offense to you or the people you know, whatever people give you those kind of experiences are kind of dicks. In a situation where neither party is blatantly in the wrong (like in this FML I would defend OP no matter the relation), I can't imagine why someone would overtly side with the person they will probably see only on holidays over the person they will spend the rest of their life with.

What teacher makes you cry 3 times a week?
