Today, I open my front door and saw a covered basket with a card from my girlfriend on it. I picked it up and read, "Hope this cheers you up." I uncovered the basket to find a golden labrador puppy. Its eyes were closed and it wasn't breathing. FML

I feel worse for the bunny....at least the poor puppy died of nautral causes....the rabbit was burnt to death! How horrible! Still very sad though, poor little thing, and poor you for having to find it! Im sure she did it with good intentions though

#58. my husband (boyfriend at the time) bought me an australian cattle dog puppy as a gift. that was 9 years ago and my dog is still alive and well. Dogs as a gift if given to responsible people can make a great gift..... but only if they have been wanting a dog.

ok so i check the facts, the OP lives in texas, the puppy obviously died of heat stroke, your girlfriend should've came to your door when you were home or if she has a key maybe to your house left it there. but obviously she failed to do that and the dog died, your girlfriend is an idiot.
