I'm a type one diabetic and have been for fifteen years. Sometimes, soda with a lot of ice from the fountain tastes funny, and it can be hard to distinguish diet from regular. Bring those urine glucose test strips and dip them in your drink if you are ever in doubt. They are cheap, and can save you a lot of trouble.
