And your parents know how your ex-boyfriend treated you if they do and they still think that was a better choice then I don't know how the relationship lasted so long
It's your life, Marry who you want. Your parents clearly don't see what you do in your husband
Was your ex manipulative? If he was, he might've manipulated your parents to think he was a decent guy that could never do you any harm.
Your life doesn't suck but your parents sure do.
Do your parents know of your ex-husband's abuse? Otherwise, they are pretty ******* stupid to say that. If they do know...Remind them. And tell them to STFU! If they don't. Inform them.
Your parents should really keep their noses in their own relationship. I hope your husband handles this well.
Maybe you should leave your boyfriend with them for a week and make them pay therapy bills if you got therapy
Sometimes parents don't always know best or have your best interest

Good thing that it's your decision and not theirs. As long as you're happy, I'm sure they'll come around.
Unfortunately, people who abuse their SO's are typically very charming and manipulative to everyone around them. If your husband makes you happy, they will be fine. But your husband does not have to prove himself to them, as marriage was a decision between you and him :)
