Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

Today, after I invited my friend to a movie and she cancelled on me because she had to study, I obviously agreed and cancelled our tickets, I was scrolling through Instagram stories and came across hers, and saw she was with one of her friends in that same movie theater. FML

Today, I made plans with an old friend that I haven't seen in years. We agreed to meet at a diner and I told him I'd be standing outside. I watched him pull up, look right at me, then do something with his phone. Seconds later, I got a text saying, "Sorry, but I'm busy today and can't make it." FML

it was still wrong, but I kinda understand...I know that with my friends, even if I've hung out with them the whole week, and I ask for one day with my boyfriend, they start yelling, yes yelling, at me about how I dont spend enough time with them I hate them blah blah blah, so if your friend is like that, then I can understand :/ But if she isn't, being honest would've been best... And also everyone, if you're in a true relationship, then your partner also becomes your best friend too, just sayin' :/

Should have told her the truth instead of making up an excuse so that you could hangout with your boyfriend. Boyfriends are going to come and go, but friends will be there through everything, thick and thin. Shouldn't lose that.
