Today, I proudly informed my boyfriend that I am now a size 4, down from an 18, after months of dieting and exercising after he told me he would like me to be a size 6. He broke up with me for "not listening to what he wanted" and "being an overachiever". FML

Today, my boyfriend bought me a pair of jeans. I couldn't fit into them, and he reacted to this by saying I've gotten too fat for him, and he can't be with me anymore. I took them off and saw they were a size 4. I've been a size 8 for the past 2 years, and he knows this. FML

Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I've recently become serious about getting fit, and have lost nearly 84 pounds. Apparently, when I was fat, I made her look smaller in comparison. When I got slimmer, she insisted I either gain the weight back or she'd leave. So she did. FML

Today, my boyfriend admitted to purposely sabotaging all my weight loss efforts. When I confronted him, he said it’s because he doesn’t want me to get thin and turn into one of those stuck up, snobby, mean girl types that wouldn’t date him in high school. We’re in our 30s dude, get over it! FML

Okay, first of all, you don't deserve him (which you probably realize now) even if you were still a size 18. You deserve to be liked no matter what size, and if that is a determining factor in a relationship, it's not gonna be able to last. But then I understand we are all human and outward apperance is a factor in finding someone attarctive (at least initially). I just hope whatever you did-lose weight and anything you changed about you-you did it for you, and are happier for it, cuz if you're not, you might as well be who you were before and get wherever you want to be for the right reasons-YOU!

Congrats on all the weight loss! Because really, a 18 to a 4? That's serious (I'm an 11 trying to get down there - WHAT IS YOUR SECRET? ahaha). Anyway, screw him for breaking up with you. :| Now that you're thin and beautiful, you can comb the town for a real man, who will appreciate your newfound sexiness. Because seriously. What a douche.
