Today, I proudly informed my boyfriend that I am now a size 4, down from an 18, after months of dieting and exercising after he told me he would like me to be a size 6. He broke up with me for "not listening to what he wanted" and "being an overachiever". FML

Today, my boyfriend bought me a pair of jeans. I couldn't fit into them, and he reacted to this by saying I've gotten too fat for him, and he can't be with me anymore. I took them off and saw they were a size 4. I've been a size 8 for the past 2 years, and he knows this. FML

Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I've recently become serious about getting fit, and have lost nearly 84 pounds. Apparently, when I was fat, I made her look smaller in comparison. When I got slimmer, she insisted I either gain the weight back or she'd leave. So she did. FML

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because I'm now about 15 pounds overweight. When I called him a hypocrite as he's over 40 pounds overweight, he said that his weight didn't matter because "it's the girl's job to look hot." FML

Today, my boyfriend admitted to purposely sabotaging all my weight loss efforts. When I confronted him, he said it’s because he doesn’t want me to get thin and turn into one of those stuck up, snobby, mean girl types that wouldn’t date him in high school. We’re in our 30s dude, get over it! FML

Now that you're down to that size, go out and find yourself a new guy who's not such a dick. Now that you look so dramatically different, you should be welcoming this opportunity; better health, more confidence and probably a ton of fun new activities that you can do now that you couldn't do so well before! Find a friend who's also active and KEEP UP your new healthy lifestyle. You might have regrets about the guy, but look where it got you now. Keep your chin up!

I'm sorry but hate that you assume if you are a bigger size you AUTOMAICALLY must have to only get a loser boyfriend, because all the good ones are with the size 6's and 4's. All the good ones shouldn't care about your weight unless its a health thing, if your bigger and healthy, theres no reason it should be an issue. Weight shouldn't be a concern, health should. People forget that a lot. But theres nothing wrong with the OP losing weight if she wants to, good for you :).
