Today, I ran into my serious boyfriend of two years at a restaurant. He was sitting with another girl. I went over and asked him who she was. He replied, "Who are you?" Apparently I was the secret girlfriend. FML

That would mean that you have not met his family or spent enough time or holidays with him to know something was up. You would not know his friends well, you would not be going out in public much, and you would not be having him over to your family's for holidays or anything. YDI if you thought a regular booty-call was a relationship.

Seriously, people, I gotta ask: What is with all the comments (not just here, scattered throughout FML in general) that automatically assume the girl was wrong to think she was in a relationship?! Any time anyone posts something about having caught their partner cheating, at least a handful of people end up responding with something like "Well, if he was with someone else, you OBVIOUSLY weren't dating and must have got your signals crossed. YDI for being an idiot." What the hell? Why are you all so determined to believe people don't cheat, they just two-time?? Is this a culture trend I am just unaware of??
