we don't need no edukation
How can anyone put anything but YDI? Seriously? It's called spell check, it comes in handy when doing your resume that MIGHT get you an interview, that is if you didn't spell education wrong.
Everyone keeps telling the OP to use spell check, and I have to agree with all of them. However, people today have become too dependent on spell/grammar check. As a teacher, this is one of my biggest pet peeves! After you use spell check, you need to check it manually, as well. You could also get someone else to take a look at it, too. SPELL CHECK WILL NOT ALWAYS CATCH EVERY MISTAKE!!! For example, you are typing too fast and you write, "He went too the store." Spell check will find nothing wrong with this sentence. Not to mention how many people mix up "your" and "you're." Spell check will skip those, too. Stop being lazy and PROOFREAD after using spell check!
Have you ever used the "Eye halve a spelling chequer..." poem in class? I think it's a great example.
No excuse, these days spell check picks up those mistakes, duplicate words and grammar mistakes. No excuse. It definitely would over picked up a misspelling of education. Ignoring the red squiggley line is just one more FAIL. Why use spell check if you're going to ifnore it anyway?
#70 - lol, nice. Yeah, it's been around a while. #75 - It's nothing special, just a fun little example. Glad to let you know of it, and it should be pretty easy to find. #90 - As #87 pointed out, 'eduction' is a valid word that could easily be a typo for 'education'. Education is usually a heading in your average resume, so for it to be misspelled there would offer no grammatical context with which the computer could determine that it is a mistake.

An edumacation is a good thing.
ALWAYS have someone, or more than one person look things like that over for corrections and whatnot. And thats exactly why...
