I'm pretty sure my cats love me more than anyone else I've ever known; animals are basically in the "business" of giving and receiving love, at least pets generally are. They're straightforward and wonderful that way. I'm sorry if you're not feeling loved by your boyfriend as you want to be, and at the same time I'm glad you've got an awesome dog to see you through whatever does or doesn't happen with the guy you're dating.

That's normal. A dog sees his owner as a parental figure. You probably looked at one of your parents more lovingly then the other parent when you were a child. I'm sure your boyfriend loves you
