this is so true FOL...**** our lives

After reading these comments it seems like the people who hate Twilight are crazier than the people who are obsessed with it. Not everyone has similar likes and dislikes. No one is making you read or watch anything about Twilight. I hate basketball (born to a hockey family!). I don't get all worked up about it. There's an article about basketball in the news - I skip it and go on to the next story. There's a game on TV - I change the channel. I don't get all passionate about it. I'm pretty sure the books were written for tweens/teens anyways so everyone who's talking about how juvenile the writing is - well yea... it was written for kids. Get over it. I just think it's funny how the very people who are slamming Twilight fans for liking the series are just as passionate about not liking it. It's a book and movie series. Who cares??

That is only assuming that Twilight will be remembered at all. Which it really won't.

To 236- I understand what you're saying but I'd have to wager this is a different case. You say you dont like basketball so you just ignore it. That's fine. But did basketball ever bring this much trouble to society and in some ways corrupting a portion of youth? (I'll never forget my friend who was dumped by his gf cuz he didn't like twilight) Did basketball ever essentially poison the minds of a large number of young people? Not saying what you said doesnt make sense I'm just I think these are two different cases
