I hate twilight. The movies are terrible, and (King said it, not me) Stephanie Myer can't write. And yes, I've read the books. SHE. CAN. NOT. WRITE. I've honestly never ever read something that badly written. This twilight obsessed girl in my class found out I hated twilight (I was wearing my anti twilight shirt) and she starts screaming at me, asking me why I don't like it. I told her "Because it has no plot." Her response? "What's a plot?" Twilight is not literature, and it is making kids dumb and uneducated because of their obsession with fictional charectors. I, too, liked a fictional charector once, in 6th or 7th grade. But this is a bunch of high schoolers that think edwards real and stalk Robert Pattingson, who, by the way, also hates twilight. Having a celeberty crush is one thing, but being a rabid sparkle obsessed twilight fan who throws acid on people for telling them to put down their twilight book (happened in a high school chemistry lab) is another, and thats just way too far. Also, all you twilight fans can like the books or the movie or whatever, that's fine. I wouldn't mind that. What I do mind are the twilight fans who stop liking it because they want to seem smarter and less obsessed. Like the ones on here who are like "Well, I hate the movies and vampires don't sparkle, but the books are AMAZING!" The books suck, and you're a twilight fan, so get over yourselves. It's a craptastic epic let down that could've have been a tv movie and diwn with but drags into seperate turds and now sucking adults in to this tween cult of lambs that need the slaughter floor lined with them alnog with the writer, I hate it immensely because people compare it to Romeo and Juliet. it's clearly a ripoff. I would like to point out that not everyone is into Twilight because its a trend. I never even heard of Twilight, I saw it in Borders, liked the cover, read it. And the first time I heard about it from anyone else was after the movie came out(which by the way SUCKS ASS). And also I think it's pretty dumb to compare Twilight to Miley Cyrus since she hates Twilight and HSM was a total failure(with anyone over, what? 10), Twilight wasn't.

Harry Potter is about making difficult decisions and finding the inner strength to protect those you care about. Twilight is about the importance of having a boyfriend where good looks have priority. I think Harry Potter wins by a landslide.

hey im just gonna say tht i personally dont know any twilight freaks. or harry potter freaks. im neutral in the twilight thing so im not gonna chris brown any chick who fingers herself to edward, but i think its total bullshit tht some people r gonna think were gonna be the twilight generation. Also, why is there no talk about the vampire diaries? those were some badass book tht got made into series, yet noone bitches about tht.
