Today, I realized that the "holla" tattoo I stupidly got on my lower lip five years ago isn't fading as I expected it to, and will probably contribute to my unemployment for years to come. FML

Why would you EVER consider doing that??

Why in the world would you get a tattoo on you're face! On the plus side employers will know automatically that you have poor critical thinking skills and won't have to waste time training a dummy.

If this post had a face, I would punch it. Idiot. YDI

Maybe you can cover it up with a lot of foundation?

I've decided to be a rebel and never get a tattoo. 75% of North Americans have a tattoo, and from what I've seen 50% of those ARE stupid tattoos, so OP really isn't that original. Holla though? Here's your sign.

A tattoo is not a temporary transfer. They may fade slightly with exposure to sunlight but that is with you for life unless you get it lasered and that in itself leaves some scarring. Alternatively if you are a woman get some colour tattooed over it.

Honestly it's not the tattoo mostly its not inappropriate and I am heavily tattooed most I can't hide and I have no problem getting a job

Go get you some vitiligo make up for the lips. Match it to the right lip color and wear that everyday. That makeup stays on because it's for people loosing pigment used to cover up those areas. And it stays on for like 12 hours even if you lick you lips

HAHAHAHAHA OMG YOU DUMB B*TCH!

YDI. Why the hell would it fade, tattoos are kinda permanent!

They do fade a little over time, but we're talking black to grey, that being why people who care about their tattoos tend to have them sharpened every 10-15 years. They most certainly don't disappear by themselves (with the exception of semi-permanent tattoos), however...
