It's probably because you have no concept of tense relationships in subordinate and main clauses, OP. I'd have done the same.
What age are you and her - 12 or 14? (1) Hand jobs are stupid - you can give yourself one any time and do a better job. (2) if she agreed to give you a hand job just what did she expect? That makes me think both are you are probably in Junior High at the oldest. You both need to grow up.
